SERVICE TERMS and CONDITIONS
Service Terms and Conditions – Our store is dedicated to supporting local, so everything listed in our store is available to Sherwood Park and Edmonton locations only. Contact us for an estimate, if you are located outside these areas.
We strive to ensure that all images listed within our online store are as accurate as possible, however, actual products may not be exactly as displayed.
All work is completed on a first come, first served bases. Orders placed through our online store will have priority scheduling. However, you may contact us before placing your order for an estimated ETA.
Accepting a Quote
To accept a quote from RBA Mechanical, view your quote online, and click the PAY NOW button. Complete the checkout process. When you complete your order, you are agreeing to have us complete the work as specified in the description, and you agree to ensure all payments will be paid in full based on the payment terms selected. Any changes to the quote must be provided to us PRIOR to completing the checkout process.
You will receive an email detailing your order, and you will receive automatic email notifications when the status of your quote changes. You will receive your invoice when our work is completed.
RBA Payment Plans
For services over $500.00, you will see a payment option “RBA 30 Day Payment Plan”. This option allows you to pay the total value of your order over 30 days. You choose a custom down payment amount and choose the frequency of your payment. This is a no fee option, and we process your order as soon as we receive your completed payment contract and your order.
>> If your equipment has 8 weeks or longer delivery time, you will receive a copy of the deposit payment from our Supplier, as our proof that your payment has been made on your equipment.
Our limited warranty is 90 days on workmanship, from the date of invoice. All parts & equipment is based on Manufacturers’ warranty policies and may range between 6 months or 1 year. If you have questions regarding a product warranty, please contact us PRIOR to placing your order.
Testing or examination services: Testing & examinations are based on the time of test or examination, and there is no warranty implied on such services.
Backflow device repair warranty is limited & is based on causes or conditions.
Our limited warranty is 90 Days from the invoice date on our labour workmanship only.
We warrant only the work completed by RBA Mechanical, and are not liable for existing issues
or issues outside the specific scope of work listed in your order. We do not warrant the parts or equipment. Parts & equipment is warranted by the Manufacturer, based on their warranty policies, and does not include cost for the labour.
Cancellation Policy – RBA Mechanical
You have 24 hours to cancel your order for a full refund. After 24 hours, your order is in full process.
During regular business hours Mon to Fri 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, we begin processing orders as soon as orders are received.
Outside of regular business hours, we begin processing orders by 9:00 am the next business day.
After 24 hours – Orders with materials or equipment
After 24 hours, materials and equipment have been reserved exclusively for you, and will be in route to our office.
If you cancel your order during this time (after 24 hours, but before appointment scheduling), we will refund 70% of your total order value.
There is no refund of special made or special ordered materials or equipment (or on materials that are more then 2 weeks delivery) However, we will refund you 70% of the “installation” value of your order.
Once we have booked your appointment, it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. However, appointments may need to be changed by us or by you, based on current weather conditions, or other conditions outside our control.
Appointments can be rescheduled at no charge.

THE SALE OF PARTS ONLY
RBA Mechanical holds no responsibility of any part sold once it has left our hands. Nor does RBA Mechanical hold any responsibility for any repairs or installations of the purchased parts.
The customer shall be responsible for ordering the correct parts as is needed.
Faulty parts can be returned and submitted to the Manufacturer for a warranty claim. Customer is responsible for purchasing replacement parts until warranty is successfully processed. Parts warranty is not guaranteed by RBA Mechanical. If a warranty claim is successfully completed by the Manufacturer, customer will be reimbursed the full amount in the method of original payment.
Invoice payments made through our online system, will be processed towards your account on the next business day. Any overpayments made will remain on your account as a “credit”.
All equipment must be fully accessible.
You will be contacted to book your appointment when your materials and/or equipment is available.
- All service work is completed by a qualified Journeyman.
- We follow all COVID 19 rules & regulations to ensure your health and safety.
- We remove all our packaging & debris from work site.
- All work will be completed as specified in your service description (work order)
- When work is completed, you will receive your invoice, for your records.
- All prices that are listed are based on flat rate pricing with NO hidden fees. See Additional Fees for exceptions.
- Credit card payments – we accept all major credit cards online through the Stripe platform.
- We accept G Pay and Apple Pay payments.
- We accept online banking payments through your bank by either Bill Pay, EFT Direct Deposits, or E-Transfer.
- Po / invoice payments – you must hold an established Account with RBA Mechanical.
If any of the following conditions apply, please contact us PRIOR to placing your order to book an on-site survey.
- If any equipment or part is unaccessible, hidden, or is difficult access.
- If holes may be required through concrete or cinder block, concrete coring may be required.
- If equipment is higher then 10 ft from floor level, a scissor lift may be required.
- If equipment is in a mobile home, additional fees may apply.
- If you do not have the main electrical, gas fitting or plumbing service available, request a quote before placing any order.
Onsite conditions that may involve additional fees:
- AC Service / Leak detection: Access ports / valves. Central air conditioners & roof top units come with access ports / valves, if they are missing, additional fees to install access ports / valves will be required.
- Any hidden or unforeseen conditions that hinder a repair or installation.
These Terms govern your access to, usage of all content, Product and Services available at https://www.rbamechanical.ca website (the “Service”) operated by RBA Mechanical Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to our services are subject to your acceptance, without modification, of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules and policies published and that may be published from time to time by us.
Please read the Agreement carefully before accessing or using our Services. By accessing or using any part of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of the terms of the Agreement, then you may not access or use our Services.
The Agreement does not transfer from Us to you any of Ours or third party intellectual property, and all right, title, and interest in and to such property will remain (as between the parties) solely with RBA Mechanical Inc. and its licensors.
Third Party Services
In using the Services, you may use third-party services, products, software, embeds, or applications developed by a third party (“Third Party Services”).
If you use any Third Party Services, you understand that:
- Any use of a Third Party Service is at your own risk, and we shall not be responsible or liable to anyone for Third Party websites or Services.
- You acknowledge and agree that We shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
Where use of any part of our Services requires an account, you agree to provide us with complete and accurate information when you register for an account.
You will be solely responsible and liable for any activity that occurs under your account. You are responsible for keeping your account information up-to-date and for keeping your password secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account that you use to access the Service. You shall not share or misuse your access credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized uses of your account or upon becoming aware of any other breach of security.
We may terminate or suspend your access to all or any part of our Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately.
If you wish to terminate the Agreement or your RBA Mechanical Inc. account, you may simply discontinue using our Services.
All provisions of the Agreement which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Our Services are provided “AS IS.” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. RBA Mechanical Inc. and its suppliers and licensors hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Neither RBA Mechanical Inc., nor its suppliers and licensors, makes any warranty that our Services will be error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You understand that you download from, or otherwise obtain content or services through, our Services at your own discretion and risk.
Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
Except to the extent any applicable law provides otherwise, the Agreement and any access to or use of our Services will be governed by the laws of Canada.
The proper venue for any disputes arising out of or relating to the Agreement and any access to or use of our Services will be the state and federal courts located in Canada.
RBA Mechanical Inc. reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
If we make changes that are material, we will let you know by posting on our website, or by sending you an email or other communication before the changes take effect. The notice will designate a reasonable period of time after which the new terms will take effect.
If you disagree with our changes, then you should stop using our Services within the designated notice period, or once the changes become effective.
Your continued use of our Services will be subject to the new terms.
